need your input

July 5th will be my husband and I's first trip to Aruba.

There seems to be so many restaurants, how do you pick them, they all sound good. Which one is the best for eating on the beach?

Also, do you suggest that I make reservations before I arrive?

Also, are there supermarkets to do some shopping, get beer, etc

Thanks

I would begin your research by reading through some of the posts at these threads for some ideas:

I would definitely make advance reservations for restaurants such as:
Madame Janette, Old Man & the Sea, the Flying Fishbone, Azull and Passions.

grocery shopping at LIng and sons. They will also accept an order on line for delivery. Great and fun grocery store....
Read the top 10 list that was previously posted for great restaurants.

It may be helpful to make some of your reservations in advance. We contact the hotel conceirge and give them a list of desired places and special dates and occassions (birthdays, etc) It always seems to work well becuase it is one less thing to think about when you arrive. You can always change once you get there.
