last time we were there (and i cannot remember when...maybe 18 months ago)
there was a monkey on a leash there.
he was a mean little Ba......oops i am not allowed to write that am i?
i digress
so paul says, DO NOT go near that monkey.

well, any of you that know me knows, I DID go see the monkey and he was a mean little sucker.

paul said, DO NOT touch that monkey.
so of course i did, and the little booger tried to attack my arm.
it was a filthy vile animal.

we finally were seated and having a beer trying to decide if we were going to have "local goat" stew or "local chicken" when there was a commotion in the parking lot.

there was a group of kids, that had set up orange cones and were having donkey races.
paul said DO NOT go over there........i ignored him again, and watched the donkey races in the parking lot while my food was being prepared.

when i returned to our table, paul was patting a big peacock and i watched it peck at him, causing paul to leave the table and head to the interior part of the place. loved it.

i hope it has some semblence of its former self.

I did get the menu converted from Corel Word Perfect (had to download the free trail) as I don't have that program. Then I converted to a PDF. As the menu is in guilders, I'm waiting for a friend that was on vacation to add U.S. $ prices to the menu (i don't know how to do that on a pdf).

Thanks Liz. Looks like a nice menu. We always liked the resturant before the changes last year.

Will be back next Sept.
