One of the best meals we had on the Island. Not cheap but 50th b-days only come 1 time. Early and watch the sunset. Will post more after we unpack.

I am going to be proposing in Dec at this restaurant. Is there a particular time of day that anyone could suggest being the "right" time?
Thanks!!

Sunset on Dec 1 is at 6:12, by the end of the month, sunset is at 6:25.

Wait until dessert....enjoy your meal!

For all of the OM&TS experts...
We have a reservation which was confirmed by OM&TS via email.
I emailed them 10 days ago to change the date and did not receive a reply.
I emailed THEM again 3 days ago and have not received a reply.
I am watching my SPAM folder like a hawk so don't believe it went there.
Do I really need to spend our hard earned money on an international phone call just to get this restaurant to respond to our request?

How about e-mailing your concierge and having them do your "dirty work"?

I called, but we have a plan where it costs us just 59 cents per minute. Never got an e-mail reply.

I wish I had her email.

I am just slightly annoyed that we had plans to go there and would obviously spend $200+ and our "little" bit of business is obviously not worth the courtesy of a reply. They had plenty of time to acknowledge my original reservation so it is not like they NEVER read their email.

Just had the idea of making a new reservation through the form on their website. That was how I made our original reservation. In the comment box of course I stated that I was cancelling our "other" reservation as well as requesting the new one.

We shall see...

You have every right to be annoyed. If I were you, I would get a free dessert out of this when I got there!

....the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I would like to add that the reply was swift and included an apology. We are looking forward to our dinner after all of the wonderful things we have heard.
