Old Man & The Sea Distance?

I read that this is about 30 minutes away from the Marriott ~ is that accurate?
    Wherabouts is it located?

I am familiar with as far as the Balashi plant & the old drive-in movie theater - is it beyond that?

Hoping to secure a reservation for Mother's Day!

You can see it here http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=12.4441618&lon=-69.9434495&z=16&l=0&m=a&v=2 centered on the aerial map. It is next to the Flying Fishbone if you happen to be familiar with that restaurant. 30 minutes timeframe is about right ESPECIALLY if there is traffic in downtown Oranjestad.

http://www.flyingfishbone.com/map/index.html Directions to the Flying Fishbone, again, the Old Man & the Sea is next door past the FFB.

Yes, it is about 30 minutes from the Surf Club. It is past the drive in. It is in Saventa. You turn right at the Subway or Dominio Pizza.

It takes about the same amount of time as it takes to get to Mirandi's. Mirandi's you turn off earlier but you spend a lot of time in the residential neighbourhood. OMAS is longer on the highway but shorter once you take the turn off.

Option, take a bus to the downtown area and then hop a cab to OMAS. Well worth the drive!

We are going to suck up the taxi fare-- support the local economy -- and just consider the $50 as part of the dinner tab . Expensive meal , but from all the reports, well worth it.

You will love it. Just there a few days ago and have to say the taxi fare was well worth it.
Cab fare was 2 dollars more because it was also the queens b-day. Lots of fun and the sax player came to our table and was also great. Have fun!!!!

With traffic getting trough downtown, it took us from La Cabana 35 mins. to OMATS. From the Marriott add 10 mins.

Distance in miles isn't much more than about 10. BUT it is the traffic downtown and two lane highway which makes it a longer ride.

http://taxiaruba.com/new/farelist.html $25 each way. OMATS is in Savaneta. Agree on a fare before you get into the taxi or see the info here http://www.aruba.com/forum/tags/taxi.html Bully & Serry are both honest, hardworking, taxi drivers who are members of this forum.
