Omg, oMg, OMG Quinta Del Carmen

    Lovely, simply lovely

the new MJ's has emerged for me, but 10x better ...

What a fabulous building( built by bully's great great grandfather 1890) warm and inviting. It has large party rooms, gorgeous backyard setting, beautifully lit and not over crowded.

They have a great many items to choose from in apps, entrees and desserts.

highlights of our meal were( party of 8) apps; fried goat cheese, watermelon salad, seafood soup, chicken soup.
Entres included; lamb, grouper ( 7 nights later for me), paella, stuffed chicken, steak...

Deseert was asst Dutch cookies and Nutella cheesecake.( deadly)
8 people happy, 8 will return.

best wishes to Lucia on his new adventure, we'll be back!!!

thanks to Randi for the tip!!!

When you go, ask to see the picture of the building from 1918 that they have on the wall; one of the best antique photos of Aruba that I've seen. Wish I had taken a photo of it.

apparently the site had access to an underground water aquifer. A doctor lived in it and a hospital was developed behind his home at the site.

The name "Carmine" comes from the doctor's daughter, I believe.
