Hi CK... not to butt in.. but I live very close to Natural Bridge. The Gift shop was recently redone and it is fantastic... you an get snacks, drinks, etc. I have been by the Ostrich farm, but didn't see anything about a restaurant.....Thanks! Sounds perfect using a good map! And getting lost from time to time is part of the fun!
I still remember the old gift shop at the Natural Bridge, it was charming in it's own way. But needed probably some makeover.
"Back then", the charges a bit for using the bathroom. Which I did every time I went to the Natural Bridge ~ never leave out an opportunity! LOL I only had a regular small rental car and would not venture towards Arawak Park as the streets were not paved. And anywhere else were other tourists!
Did you by any chance drive by the Ostrich Farm? Would you know if the restaurant there has been rebuilt?
Thanks so much for your detailed descriptions accompanied by your beautiful photos! LOVE every bit of it!

Hi EdandLiz, thanks for your response. At the Ostrich Farm there is/was(??) this large building with looked rather like an African lodge. Very beautiful. There were many African items for sale and exquisite African sculptures on display. There is/was also a little bar where I always had some water and fruit juice to drink before heading over to the Natural Bridge. It's actually quite unique.
Here are some photos I took during my last trip in 2010, the last five photos are from the restaurant/store at the Ostrich Farm. I hope so very much that it's still there!
Thanks for the pix CK1...We've never gone to the Ostrich Farm, but pass it all the time...will have to stop in and check out the Restaurant. The gifts looked pretty cool, I spied the quilt hanging on the wall in your one pix and already know where to put it !!!! LOL....
We always head over to the NB while out on the ruff side of island, we grab a bunch of pestachi and some of their alcohol fruit smoothies....YUMMY....cant wait to see how it looks now that its been remodeled.....and btw, I wonder if they raised the "rental" fee for the bathrooms to help cover the cost of the remodel !!!! probably $1 now !!!!!!
ARUBA....HOME AWAY FROM HOME
We had lunch there a few years ago and it was really good. According to their website, the restaurant is still under construction (I think they had a fire awhile ago at the restaurant.)

You are welcome, Danadog56.
The African store and restaurant at the Ostrich Farm was always one of my "must see again" list when on Aruba.
ArubaAmy, the fire was in 2013, I believe. Thanks for their website.
Andrea, I was just wondering if they were able to restore the restaurant by now. And if one of our forum members drove by recently.
The Ostrich Farm has as well a FB site. I did not see any recent updates on the restaurant, just this photo of June 2015 with the gift shop/restaurant in the background:
Yes, the fire was in January 2013. In April '13 I was having breakfast at Buster's at Trop Casino when I asked my server how long she worked there as I had never seen there before. She said she was new, that had worked at the Ostrich Farm until the fire.
