    Curious question:

with so many wonderful places to dine-- why would you dine at the same place more then once in a given vacation?

    directions to B55
pass airport as if you are going towards San Nic

turn left at the traffic signal light at the big intersection near the BALASHI and WEB plant.
FOllow that road approx half mile and B55 is on the right.

for lots of "mentions" of B55, go to the search menu on the left here on this page.
    enter B55 and click search
a number of threads will come up where there is a mention of B55.

    i never dine anonymously ;-)

We like B55 but we wouldn't spend extra money on a hefty taxi fare to go there. If you have a rental car, great - but if not, I would choose someplace closer.
I posted several restaurants that we are considering in an earlier post on this thread. Are there any of those restaurants that you would put into this catagory?

will u be taking a taxi to these places?

you have 4 that are somewhat similar......sort of......marandi, marina pirata, barefoot and pinchos. if you are taking a taxi, pinchos and barefooot will be the closer.....but imo marina pirata would be the best as far as excellent food AND reasonable price.

(just my opinion and if you want 4 waterfront dining experiences, then your 4 picks are good)

Love Madam J's but the people we are traveling with went there during an oppressively hot evening with no breeze and that took away from their dining experience. We have been there when it was uncomfortably warm as well. Unfortunately we have been there when the weather was perfect as was the meal and I am said to have to skip it. Oh well.......

    And here's where opinons differ....

If paying for a taxi to Marandi, Marina Pirata, Barefoot, and Pinchos, I would put Marina Pirata at the bottom of the list as far as "excellent food". Yes, it's good food and the prices are reasonable but it's not in the same category as the other 3 as far as food. I would pay for a taxi to the other 3 but not for Mirana Pirata if you're looking for the whole experience with upscale food. Again, just my opinion (and yes, I can be a food snob at times...but I'm also comfortable having a great pizza on occasion, too. LOL!)

And if you want some waterfront dining experiences without the hefty taxi fare, you could also consider Matthew's and Passions which are both located in the low rise hotel area.
