Queen's Bar is downtown in the area of the cruise ships. I ran across a number of favorable reviews on tripadvisor. The restaurant is Aruban cuisine, and reviews often mentioned the Pan bata (pancake) and fish dishes. They also said that the staff was sensitive and open to adjusting dishes for people with special diets. I always have one day downtown shopping and usually DH waits at the Paddock and then we head off to find a new spot for lunch so this sounds appealing. If you get there first, please post a review.

Treb - your picks look fantastic (everyone will have their variations). Nice to see you have Amuse on your list - please say hello to Patrick and Ivette . . . getting GREAT reviews on all boards and well deserved.
I agree with Andrea - anywhere on the island with no breeze and a stifling hot evening is not pleasant . . . I'd put MJ's back on your list though . . . we always have a solid evening there. Michael |
