Overall Dinner Dress Code

Hi,

Wife and I are heading down on March 14. We are staying and the Westin and have a car set up so will be a bit all over. We plan to eat out every night. What is the overall dress code. Will jeans and a decent top with sneakers work? Do i need to bring slacks, shoes, and such with me?

Thanks.

hi paul
jeans are kind of warm

smart casual and casual are the norm

in many trips my husband has never worn pants/slacks to any of the restaurants
he always wears docker shorts and a short sleeve polo shirt to dinner

tell your wife that short sets, sun dresses, bermuda shorts and nice tank tops are all widely worn

footwear sandals

going thru your luggage soon?
remove some of the clothing and pack a few more bathing suits.

I generally wear crop pants and a nice top. I usually wear longer sleeve tops as it can be cold if you're inside and especially in the casinos. Otherwise, bring a sweater! DH wears either nice shorts and golf shirt or pants and a golf shirt.

For get the jeans - it's too hot. Nice shorts, crops, etc are fine.

Slacks required at Mr. Jazz

My husband and I went to Mr. Jazz last May and he was dressed in nice bermuda type dress shorts and very nice shirt. They said he had to have on slacks to get it! This is the only place we ever found this. We still do not pack slacks. Shorts are not only the most comfortable with the weather but widely excepted......almost anywhere.
I bring a few sundresses and nice shorts and I have always felt dressed appropriately. A sweater for the casinos is definitely a good tip given earlier.

We'll cross Mr. Jazz off our list...no long pants in our traveling group.

I don't know where Mr. Jazz is and it doesn't matter, no slacks for me....anywhere in Aruba.....not even on the airplane.

I think Mr. Jazz changed their attitude - I'm going to ask. DH and I went up to look at the menu and there was a couple waiting to be seated - he had on a t-shirt, shorts and sneaks. She had on the same and they were seated.
