Pamper in Paradise at The Hyatt - Worth it?

I'm new to the forum and coming to Aruba with my girlfriend for the first time in late March. We're staying at the Hyatt and were thinking of doing the Pamper in Paradise dinner there. But I can't seem to find any solid or realistic reviews of how it is. If it's worth the money, good food and servce, not cheesy or out-dated.

Has anyone done this? What did you think? If this isn't the place to be doing a private dinner on the beach, where would you recommend?

    Thanks for the help!
    Rob

Haven't done it, but I wouldn't hesitate with the Hyatt.... It's a first class property and everything they do is first rate with an exceptionally well trained staff. There are other beach dining venues available with places like Passions.

I don't have any experience with the Pamper in Paradise, but just wanted to say Hi & Welcome to the forum!

I agree with CP, the Hyatt is just beautiful and the private dining on the beach with butler service sound divine!

If money is no object or for special occasions it is definitely worth it. There are several other locations that do a sunset dinner on the beach for less.
I proposed to my wife on the beach in Aruba back in í09. I had Pampered In Paradise set up for our dinner after. It was over $400 for the food (which was good), a medium priced bottle of wine, flowers, and a photographer. The personal attention was great as we had our own waiter. There was one other couple set up in the area but far enough away to still feel like we were alone. We havenít done it since that night but maybe next year for our 5 year anniversary. We just booked our 6th trip down this week so I jumped on for some new restaurant reviews, hope this helps.

the romantic dinner at Elements (at the Bucuti) is half the price($188) and twice as nice. I was there on feb 28. The only problem is getting a reservation. There are 2 seatings, 6 and 8:30. hotel guests have preference and you can only check with the concerge at 6 p-m the night before.

Thanks Paul! I appreciate the feedback. If you wouldn't mind, could you go into a little more detail about why you thought it was twice as nice?

very quiet and secluded, silver service, 5 course meal with bottle of wine, noone anywhere near you, $188 no service charge, your tip option.
