We have been dining at Pelican's Nest for the last 9 years and still love it......we plan to go back in '09 at least twice for dinner. I always reserve a table on the outside and feed the fish.....

Pelican Nest Restaurant

Had a nice snack and drink while comfortably resting after a short excursion snorkeling in February, 2009. The view from our table was outstanding! But I must caution guests to not let their credit card out of their sight when paying their bill. That is, follow the waitstaff or lone dining area attendant to make sure your card is in you sight at all time. We, and another couple, who dined with us have a greater than 90% confidence that our credit cards were "skimmed" on that visit. Hopefully the person responsible no longer works there, but just in case.....Be Aware and Cautious! Certainly this incident is not any fault of the Pelican Nest Restaurant, but that of an unscrupulous employee.

Love the Pelicans nest but I have to agree. Our card disappeared into thin air after we gave it to them a couple years ago, could of been an honest mistake. Luckily I make photo copies of them and was able to cancel immediately.

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
my husband has been known to hand the card to waiters.........any waiters.......everywhere .....and then follow them, and he typically winds up at the credit card processor thingy, signs the receipt right there and the card is handed back. paul has no problem doing this and sometimes explains that our credit card has been compromised before and that is his reason for being a bit "anal".

this whole credit card safety thing is so important for our everyday life.......not only holidays in aruba.

I'm always nervous about sending a card off to who knows where -- wish restaurants could process the charge right at the table!
