Omg, that sounds impossible , a bad meal at Pinchos?!!! Sorry to hear that. That place has never disappointed us seriously. Did you speak to them? I thing we have been at least 15 times there and have always been super happy!! Just our honest opinion😄

Going to Passions for sunset tonight and back to barefoot on Wednesday, but for our last meal I'm trying to get the group back to WestDeck, great food and "fun"!!

I am going to try once again to get into Wacky Wahoos. I can never get in there. I made reservations for Madame Jeanette's. I will also go to Pinchos again as it was one of our favorites last year. Outstanding steak and atmosphere. Thanks. I am open to any new places.

We did let them know, which is somewhat out of character for me. The service was very slow and unattentive, two medium rare steaks were cooked medium well & were just slightly even warm when served, the catch of the day Wahoo, tasted like marinaded cardboard. Our food was servred 1.5 hours after ordering so sending anything back was out of the question.

No they offered a free desert which we declined as we didn't have a couple more hours to wait

Went to Passions last night, the service, food and ambiance were over the top!! They stole 1st place from Barefoot in my book. Our visit to Pinchos unfortunately was our 1st and I'm not certain it was an off night based on both lousy service and lousy food, I've written them off for good, too many other great places.

We too gave Pinchos a try and were very underwhelmed. Glad you enjoyed Passions. It is one of our favorites.

It amazes me how we just write off bad food, service and management as the restaurant "having a bad night". Most of us save a lot of money for our week and sometimes two or more on the island. To go somewhere and spend what I consider a lot of money (we wouldn't go out every night at home and spend the money we do on vacation) for a mediocre meal is unacceptable. As Aruba depends on return visitors a lot, it amazes me that we accept this. I worked in the hospitality field long ago and my managers would never accept the restaurant having a bad night. A manager offering a dessert as compensation for a wrecked entree doesn't cut it. We went to MJs several years back on what was I guess a "bad night". We have never returned or even considered it as there are many restaurants in Aruba that don't have "bad nights".

We had a bad meal at Madame Janettes once. If we had not been there many times before, we probably would not have gone back. Unfortunately for restaurants, most people give them no second chances if the first experience is bad. Too many other choices.
