Prices on Jewelry

I will be in Aruba the beginning of August and my husband and I would like to buy new wedding bands. Any suggestions on a good place to shop and do you accept the price that is first stated or do you try to bargain a little?

Most places bargain...the big "named" ones don't. For the typical stores downtown, I usually pay 35 to 37 percent of what's on the tag. If it's a unique piece, your bargaining position is not as good and you may pay 45 to 50 percent.

Have fun bargaining, be prepared to walk away, show confidence in your offer and you'll get a good price. If you offer $250 on something $1000, you'll have no credibility. If they take out something tagged at $1000 and they say $475 and you reply $350....they'll take you more seriously.

Where To Buy Jewelry

Jewels And Gems Has A Great Reputation And Is Located In Downtown Oranjestaad. Always Bargain In Any Of The Jewelry Shops.
