    The Queen's Restaurant

last night four of us went to the queen's restaurant. it has moved from it's downtown location to the palm beach plaza mall. the original restaurant was not in any way fancy but this new version is absolutely beautiful. what's even more important is that their food was outstanding.

after two helpings of pan bati instead of bread, we knew we had no room for appetizers and only wished we had room for more pan bati. their version is wonderful.

one of us actually found room for their chicken soup. we all got to taste it and it was delicious.

two people had the keshi yena and loved it. we had grouper creole and pan fried red snapper creole. both of us thought it was excellent. murray even went for flan that he said was one of the best he has had.

look for the free glass of wine coupon. the bell captain at costa linda gave us one which just added to the pleasure of the meal.

the bill for four people, including 10% service fee, tax, and extra tip which was more than deserved, was $160. not cheap but in no way extravagant for the quality of the food and excellent service.
