Been hearing great things about this restaurant. Was wondering where it is located as we may check it out during our upcoming March/April trip.
In looking for their location I found this very cool information on their Facebook page:
The Dr. Horacio e. Oduber Hospital was originally a Catholic hospital. The only hospital on the island is, however, open to patients of all denominations. The history of our hospital goes back to 1920 when the sisters Dominican Sisters founded the first hospital in Aruba (San Pedro di Verona).
This first hospital was located in the town of Oranjestad and is now in use as a nursing home for the elderly. The current hospital is put into operation at the end of 1976. The official opening took place in January 1977. The hospital is named after the first Aruban physician Dr. Horacio e. Oduber. Before the opening of the Hospital San Pedro di Verona Dr. Oduber treated patients at home (Quinta del Carmen located in Bubali). This building is still there, restored to its original state by a local architect and now in use is taken by Gerco & Luc, with as a function: Restaurant.
