My wife and I's 29th wedding anniversary is this June 6th. Starting to think about reservations. I'm a little surprised Passions didn't make your short list. Have you had a bad experience or two there?

your 29th anniversary is on my birthday

i am not, nor have ever been a Passions fan.
Numerous reasons, none of any real importance to anyone other than my husband and i, but the main reason is kind of silly…..we are not wild about sitting on the beach dining. i prefer a floor of some sort under my feet. yes we dined there a few years ago.
lots of our friends love the place.

we do however love TULIP, which is also owned by the same as Passions.
    located at MVC Eagle beach
it has a great menu and a "floor"

Andrea, that's too funny about the feet in the sand while dining. That's the reason Tom and I haven't tried Passions! I think we may be in the minority though when you think how Barefoot advertises. At least at Barefoot you can have the views with the option of keeping your feet on solid ground.

I have my own personal reason not dining with respect to passions, also not crazy about using a portable bathroom, which is needed after
    consuming few cocktails...

So funny Andrea, my husband insists you cannot have fine dining and be barefoot with feet in the sand. The only on the sand dining we have done is Moomba, lol. We loved the old Mirandi's but then again it had a floor.

even at Madame Janette, we sit on the "porch" not too far from the big fan.

Tulip has redecorated and changed their menu since we were there in October. They have added a more island menu. New French chef. Still delicious.

No El Gaucho?! I crave their steaks every day of the year I'm not in Aruba.

Looks like you have a great selection otherwise!!!
