At this time of year you should make reservations a few days ahead to get the time you prefer. Most of the nice restaurants will have great tables available at the early seating (6-8pm) But, in high season you should always make your res's a month or two in advance and do it online, print out receipt and bring with you!

we hardly every make reservations except if we are going to MJ's, Papiamento, El Gaucho and Flying Fishbone.
All of the others we just go and see what happens, and of course as suggested previously we go before 6 and always get a seat.
We go in November...have even gone to MJ's and EG without reservations and only had to wait about a 1/2 hour.....bar is always open and both !!!!

You need a reservation for Passions. A forum member tried making a reservation 3 months in advance and could not get their choice of dates. There are a very limited number of seats.
