Seven West is not that good!

I went with a group of friends to their "All You Can Eat Sushi Fridays". After more than two hours waiting (for sushi... really!) we come to find out that the wrapping material was not available (in a RESTAURANT???) so there were waiting for it to arrive. Of course, you don't wait for two hours to eat.

We left totally disgusted. We also paid full amount of what we did drink. I'm not saying that the whole bill was to be free, but one can expect that they could have had the decency of discounting at least partially the portion consumed waiting on the last half hour or something, as an apology for not delivering on the service. No chance.

If I can recommend you a restaurant for sushi, for example, that would be House of Japan or Nobushi... don't dare going to Seven West... unless you like waiting forever for food, that is.

you were seated? sat there for the 2 hrs waiting for your sushi and it never came due to the wrapping absence? (what is it they wrap around sushi?) was there any reason they did not notify you early on about the lack of sushi wrap?

Yup, we were seated

To answer your question yews, we were seated, with reservations done and everything. And yes, there was an issue with the sushi ewrap, which they explained to us after more or less one hour upon entering.

Any recent visitors?

They have had nothing but positive reviews on a popular aruba restaurant review site, with the exception of
tdesigner's experience.
