    Restaurant around renassiance

    Hi all
I see lots of restaurants recommended here are around the palm beach area. We will stay in renassiance around thanksging for 5 days 4 nights. Could you recommend some restaurants within walking distances? Thanks. Also, is there any big supermarket within walking distance? We will take 2 kds with us so its nice if there is a supermarket around.

the biggest supermarket in that area is kong hing or hong king .
it imo is kind of dark and not as well stocked as Lings or Super Foods or the other Kong Hing up near the Eagle area.

    Restaurants near the Renaissance are:
    Barefoot
    Pinchos.........these 2 are about 1/2 mile south

Hopi Bon, Cilo, Cubas Cookin, Hung Paradis, Casa Tua and Cafe Plaza all at Renaissance Marketplace.

Renaissance Marina hotel......Aquarius and LG Smith

Downtown behind the Marina tower........Que Pasa, El gaucho, Driftwood and Old Fisherman

Downtown on the main street near the Marina............Paddock, Iguana Joes

all in bold print are very easy walk from renaissance marina or ocean suites

We love the Taj Mahal out behind and a block or so north of the Marina Renaissance. We have always had great, relatively inexpensive meals there. Haven't been in two years, but will be back soon!
If you put some html here, you could create a countdown ticker, but we don't care, we're going in May 2018! Yay!

Do not forget to go to Pizza and More on Main St behind the Ren. Go out the back and go inland to the rails, turn right and look for the MCB bank sign about 5 blocks down your left. Pizza and More is right there. Little place with the best pizza and lasagna on the island. Mima and Marco will be very happy to see you. Food is great and the price is very reasonable. Tell them Tom sent you. I go at least twice a week. . . .

No cars allowed. Pedestrians only. They are still installing the rails in front of Pizza and More. . . Best thing to do is park in the lot in front of Lucky Super Store and walk the one block to Main St and turn right. It's right there near the corner. If you know Maggie's, it's next door. . . .

We were there for lunch today and had the best sausage and mushroom lasagna ever. . . . 14 florians. . . . can not bet the food or the price. . . .

With kids I highly recommend Casa Tua (next door to Renaissance Suites) and Iguana Joe's which is just up the street. You can walk to the Hong King market (behind the Renaissance Marina Hotel). We often had Gouda grilled cheese sandwiches or PB&J with the kids for lunches in the room. Have fun!
    See you in Aruba!!!
    Next Aruba trip in
