    Restaurant for a big group.

Good day all, I'm looking for a restaurant where I can go with a group of 30 people. We will be in Aruba 29 march - 4 april and we want one night where we have dinner with the whole group.
Anyone know which restaurant can house us and where the food is good also?

L.G. Smith has a back room, which is very private. One is smaller and one is larger perhaps able to handle 30 people. Great steak house and beautiful atmosphere. You could ask if Yemanja Woodfired Grill could set up their outside patio for 30 people? We went to J.H. Yees for chinese and it was fantastic. Very large new restaurant and I am sure they could accomodate 30 people.

Three different types of food at each place. Good luck.

    Downtown i would recommend COOKS.
He, the owner, Ommi Henriquez does private parties often.
His restaurant on the 2nd floor can be set up for a private party very nicely.
The first floor area is lovely too and can also accommodate.

The food there is delicious and presented beautifully.
    The pricing is reasonable.
He may be able to set up a buffet menu for your party.
The beef and fish are excellent.

Contact him thru this site using private message his user name is OMMI.

    • Welcome dinners and rehearsal dinners are "large group" dinners.
    • Though the titles are related to weddings, I would read through the links below for ideas on large group dinners.

Destination weddings take tons of research so here is some which has already been done for you:

    We have had success at the following restaurants ;
El Gauchos, Chapter Suisse, Hard Rock Cafe, Sunset Grille, Laguana,
Hung Palace, LG Smith, Cassa Tua at Tenn marketplace. We travel in groups of 30+ and have been pleased with the above.

Thanks everyone, for the suggestion. And no Arubalisa, it's not a wedding. It's a futsal team with coach and chairman and a few family members. We will be ther 29/03 - 04/04, staying at Tropicana.

Giannis in the high rise can handle a group that size. Food is quite good, especially their specialty with the pasta prepared in the wheel of parmesean. They wheel out a cart with this large wheel of cheese and then add some type of liquor, flame it, add the pasta and you get this wonderful cheesy pasta.

Warning....the previous 2 times we went with a group there they could not handle us. ( 10 first visit, 14 the next)Sorry to say this...I will say however, DH and I returned by ourselves during our last visit and it was good.
The group overwhelmed the staff and they couldn't keep up with the water in the glasses, refills of soda and wine, basic stuff.............Don't want to be the party pooper, but you should know my experience. cindyo
