Restaurant and food for diabetic

Would anyone know if Ling & Son's or any other supermarkets carry food for diabetics? Also a restaurant that a diabetic may go to. Bakery with sugar free pastry? A family member is extremely compliant and will not eat anything that he shouldn't. I know there will be someone that will have ans. for me. Thank you in advance.

You will find most if not all restaurants will cater to your wishes as best as they possibly can.

we have a LINGS no sugar added banana bread sitting in our freezer.
had a slice tonight, warmed with a little butter YUM.

found it in the bakery dept at LINGS

As lisa says most if not all restaurants will be helpful. A diabetic diet is sort of low carb and all of the restaurants will UNDERSTAND low carb request.
veggies, meat or fish, salad aka no starch :-( (starch my favorite)

Yum Yum--warm banana bread sounds so good. I did check for something at Lings last Dec. but guess I did not look good enough. Will have to search much better this year. Have to watch my portion sizes too. I also bring some things from home. Wish I could have some of that wonderful ice cream they have at LaCabana. Wishful thinking. Thanks for your info, much appreciated.
