    Restaurant Reviews - Next week

I am a planner --- we have picked out all our restaurants for next week. I hope to post some reviews in the near future for the following:

    Chalet Suisse
    Casa Tua (Palm Beach)
Taste of Belgium (Probable for New Year's Eve unless we decide to cook)
Ruth Chris - Date night - leaving the baby with her Aunt
    Cuba's Cooking
Screaming Eagle - Date night part II
    Pinchos

And we will probably sneak in a lunch @ Zeerovers and possibly some appetizers at Moomba Beach.

Our 9th trip to the Island will be a tasty one... I have to start planning meals for trip 10 in June!!!

Understand the planning thing...... I do it months ahead of time. Look like good choices and I look forward to seeing your dining reports!

    Enjoy the trip!

Can't wait to see the reviews. From your list I've only been to Casa Tua, cuba's Cooking and Taste of Belgium. All were good, but I especially enjoyed Taste of Belgium. We were there one afternoon when we needed a break from the sun. The bar is tiny. I liked sitting there though because you could see into the kitchen. The shrimp in the creamy spicy tomato sauce was delicious. I liked it so much that I dunked my fried grouper sticks in it.

We had dinner at the "new" Taste of Belgium back in June and it was surprisingly good and we decided to go back. They have an amazing beer selection!

Pinchos is our one real Aruba tradtition. We have never missed a dinner there on any of our previous Aruba trips. We like to either make it the first or last nights dinner. Simple, yet just right... I always enjoy. A few years back we had a wedding vow reception there for a couple friends of ours. It was so nice!

Looking forward to dinner at Pinchos - seeing the dock all lit up always makes me smile and feel welcomed!

Thanks for the great reviews. I am already planning for our 2 weeks beginning on June 24th and I think I definitely need to put Screaming Eagle back on our list. Sorry to hear you didn't like Cuba's Cookin' as this is always a favorite of ours-although I preferred their old location in town.
