As we stay right next door at PBV, we've eaten lunch at the Islander Grill a number of times. Lunches have been very good.

The one time we ate dinner there, it was sub par. Three of the four had disappointing meals.

Nice breakfast buffet on Sunday - good price with a decent selection of foods & an omelette station We have enjoyed many lunches there over the years. This year we may have to check out their Taco Tuesday - $16.95 all you can eat - my boys will be thrilled!

also too, the will do "take away" and we have gone there often for a caesar salad to add to whatever we have for our "eat in dinners"

Only had breakfast once at Islander (took at the time my 3 year old grandson) as I like to go out to my favorite breakfast places. But I have lunch there almost every day. Everything I've had there was very good.

The lunch menu changed around Aug 18, 2016. The new chef has added some great items, and has taken away some of the wraps/lunch foods we loved. If you stop in, please give them some feedback. The chef is quite open to hearing what you think.

We ordered a bunch of items off the new menu and everyone picked one day at the pool. We had a hummus plate - grilled pita wedges, carrots, celery, guacamole, olive tapenade, etc. The grilled cheese is to die for - a ton of gouda cheese all melty - it's too big for just one person. The provencale sandwich was delicious - probably my fav! Grilled veggies & portobellos with a tomato tapenade!

They were not serving pickles with the grilled cheese sandwich. My SIL told them they should, it's a thing in the states, sandwiches come with pickles. They offered her a side of pickles for an extra charge - she agreed. $5 for 3 pickle slices! She asked to speak with the chef who explained that his instruction was all sides are $5 each and he will reconsider adding a pickle spear to sandwiches.

    That's because pickles = kryptonite.
