Remember I am not a seafood or meat eater so I tend to stay away from commenting or really reviewing restaurants since I'm so picky.

So, I've been to Screaming Eagle once for a bachelorette party. Tons of fun, great drinks! We ordered huge trays of appetizers (pre ordered during the reservation process of course). They were incredibly accommodating. Climbing up the little ladder thing was a little annoying - we sat in the cubby area with the long, low couches. It was very cool for what we were there for and the staff was wonderful. People in our party raved about some of the food. I don't remember what I ate other than cheese!

The whole dinner in bed thing weirds me out so doubt we'll ever give it a try. I want a traditional table and chair or maybe a barstool.

They do have a regular dining room with traditional tables & chairs and a bar area. Their homepage scrolls thru pictures of the different areas. It's not as weird as I was expecting it to be http://www.screaming-eagle.net/

I wrote this in another thread that wasn't specifically about Screaming Eagle but I'll just paste it here to the dedicated thread - I'm with Pegmeister:

Re ScreamingEagle - We went a couple of years ago... the food was fine but, man, having dinner on a bed is logistically challenging and I fell asleep at one point (I'm not kidding you). The Spouse had to shake me awake!

    Wine + rich food + a bed is a recipe for snooze-ville.

It was one of those places you try once.

We went 3 or 4 years ago and didn't care for it. There were 4 of us in our party, we were the only people in the restaurant. I cannot remember what everyone ordered but I do remember we all had different things, and no one liked what they ordered. I would love to give them a second chance if I read good reviews from others.

I usually walk past them during my morning walks when I stay at La Cabana but never been there. By the way I love this retuarant spot light every week. Keep it going..
