Restaurant suggestion for special occasion?

Greeting all!

Here is some background:

I will be visiting my parents for a week during their annual six-week trip to Divi Links later this month. DH and DD (who just turned 16) are going to come for a long weekend (something my parents have been asking them to do during my annual week visit).

DH and I would like to treat my parents to a nice dinner while we are in Aruba as a family.

Here is the question:

Where would you recommend for a special occasion dinner in Aruba? Price isn't a huge consideration (although is today's economy it is always a concern) as we are looking for excellent food and service as well as an outstanding ambiance.

Thanks so much!

I would recommend L.G. Smith for excellent service and food. Look on the website and you can see the beautiful, stylish and chic decour.

Old Man and the Sea is also a beautiful place. Very different ambiance than L.G. It is outside and the tables are in the sand. Food, service and presentation also very good.

I would go to Old Man & The Sea or Passions - both good food and wonderful ambiance (dining on the beach.)

old man and the sea info

Also check out Passions, especially if you do not have a rental car, it is closer to the resorts than the Old Man and the Sea

Thumbs up

I personally love the concept of amazonia, they have good meats and a great salad bar. Well atleast if you like meats, if you like seafood I would recommend Aqua grill for their fresh fish....
