Thanks everyone for not making me feel so weird with my question. My husband and I are foodies. We prefer the casual restaurants. We do not want to get super fancy while we are on vacation. Also, we are traveling with my parents (age 70) and they have some dietary restrictions. They keep kosher (no shell fish). However, I love all seafood! Where would you suggestion going for a few nice casual dinners with AC? From our past vacations, we have always found the cheapest places to have the best food.

Grand Fish has been getting some good reviews and it is air conditioned, reasonable pricing!! (i have not been there, but have read good things)

Barneys is also pretty tasty, airconditioned and relatively inexpensive.

Bavaria is pretty awesome, i am not sure if they have seafood, but they are inexpensive and air conditioned

Hung Paradise..........chinese/asian delicious airco inexpensive wonderful food including shrimp.

Please give us an idea of how much you want to spend without alcohol for dinner per person.

Andrea J - thank you so much! I’m so glad that I found this forum! Without alcohol, I’d like to spend about $20-25 per person. I would like to do one nice dinner around $30-40 per person.

My husband, daughter (age 9), my brother (age 40), and myself are all adventurous eaters. My husband does prefer meat though. My parents are not adventurous eaters though.

Where are you staying? In Palm Beach, Barney's would be a good match at those prices. Pelican Nest and Bugaloe don't have A/C, but they are both over the water on piers. If you go at or after sunset the breeze makes most outside places quite pleasant. At the $20-25 price point I'd also suggest Salt and Pepper for tapas, Local Store for the best wings on the island, Tandoor for Indian, Casa Tua for pizza, Chihuahuas for Mexican, Bingo for Aruban/Dutch, Dragonfly for Asian...
