    Question Restaurants with good soup

    Hello!
My aunt and uncle are considering a trip to Aruba and for some reason she is on an all liquid diet, doctors orders, right now.

I don't usually have soup when I am there so I can't recommend anywhere good for it.

Can you all chime in with some good places?

They have never been to the island before.

    Thank you!!

The Chalet Suisse http://www.chaletsuisse-aruba.com/index.html has a world class lobster bisque. It's in their soup of the day cycle so call to find out which days they are serving it.

I had the lobster bisque at Chalet Suisse and it was out of this world! It was the best tasting Lobster Bisque I ever had. They gave me hot dinner rolls with a fancy butter spread which added a nice touch..

Barney's and Pizza and More both have very good soups. I have tried both and they are equally very good. . . .

I have enjoyed the soups at de Suikertuin - it is a quaint lunch spot where they make great tasting sandwiches as well. Also, have had a good bowl of soup at lunch time at deliFrance as well.

Thank you all so much! I will let my aunt know! I will be in Aruba in a month and will keep my eyes out for some good soup for her too. I really appreciate all your input!

Sometimes I'm on a liquid diet when I'm there too, but it's usually Balashi or rum. I'll have to give soup a try next time.
