Restaurants near LaCabana

Can anyone tell me restaurants within walking distance of LaCabana? I should add "kid friendly" too. I know most restaurants are kid friendly though.

I'm going to Aruba with my 5 year old daughter (5 days ahead of my husband and other daughter) so I won't be renting a car until he arrives. I have been to Le Petit but that's the only one I've ever walked to.

Mango's next door from La Cabana at the Amsterdam Manor does not get a lot of talk, but it does get good reviews. http://www.restaurantsaruba.com/view_review.html?REST_ID=105
Since they do have families staying there I am sure they could whip up a child friendly dish for a 5 yo.

the restaurants on property at LaCabana are also great. The little Pizza hut by the pool was awesome, but I hear it's been replaced with Sbarro now. Chalette Suisse is within walking distance and so is the restaurant that houses the temp casino for The Aruban - you will have plenty of options!

Yup, that's Sbarro's now. I forgot about Chalette Suisse....only been there once but that's an option, thanks!

walking distance could be MANGOS CHALET SUISSE TULIP then there is the small rsstaurant Blue Marlin at the casino at the Aruban, and the ISLANDER GRILL at Lacabana.

and if you want to extend your walk or take the bus.....head down to CasaDelMar/ABC/Bucuti area and go to Pizza Bobs or Matthwes

You can also have Tomato Charlie's (pizza) deliver. We've done that a few times in the past when we're lazy and tired after a day of snorkeling.

tomato charlies has wonderful pizza great suggestion.
the best i have had anywhere......including chateau waltham!

I think not, as good as it is. Not to argue but IMO that's a stretch.
