"Local Store"... I think myself, Curt and Schexc are the only people who've mentioned it. Should be more popular!

We've been going to The Local Store since they were located downtown. The new location in the Palm Beach area (the old Caribbean Store Bar location - still miss that place) and the addition of a larger menu has really helped.

We met a couple of forum members (Walt and Mazoo) for after dinner drinks there last September and stayed until close. Fun night!

Sultans is still my favorite but nobody ever talks about it or will even try it out. The flavors with the sauces are to die for. They have lamb, which is the BEST, chicken and steak. You get a Sharma or which ever one you want or a platter and then you put the garlic sauce on and a little hot sauce that they give you. Nothing else compares to it in Aruba.
Snorkel Mangel Halto, day or night with a waterscooter. Check out our website. E-mail Stuart at arubabob@live.com or call Stuart local: 745-7459 Or visit: www.arubabobsnorkeling.com 50th trip Dec 11, 2017

Tulips is very low key and even though the menu is limited, the service and food is very good and not pricey.

Scala.... great food, good prices, nice servers and a view from the patio on the second floor. Have been there a couple of times.

We have always loved Tulip, too. We even pop in their for lunch on occasion.

Zuzuroh is another one of our favorites - located just down the street from Screaming Eagle.

J H Yees Asian bistro is excellent. Nice upscale Asian food. Prices are not bad either. They are above the Hard Rock next to Tandoor. They are owned by the people that operate Blossoms. Both are very good and don't get much mention. So if you want Asian and don't want to go downtown, try them.

We've been to Cuba's Cookin' several time. Both before and after they moved to their current site. All but the last one were excellent. The last visit resulted in lower quality food and a bout of food poisoning for me.
