From friends that have been to the new restaurant - only good things for all meals. If the owners do the job that they have been doing at Rumba, this will worrk out very well. We arrive on the 4th and will be glad toi report our thoughts and feelings when we return.

Mathew's Restuarant Casa del Mar

Only high marks for this wonderful new restaurant at Casa del Mar :-) We were recently in Aruba and had their buffet breakfast. Limited selections, but prices very good and two dollars higher then the old restaurant that closed in May. Of course there is the usual fresh fruit (high quality)breads, cakes, cheeses, juice selections, omelet station, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, unlimited coffee, very friendly and helpful waiters and staff with a beautiful beach and ocean view. We also had dinner one night as well. Very attentive service, delicious dinner served hot and presented well. Dinner prices are a bit higher then they should be for a timeshare property, but the quality is great and well worth the money. The owners told me they are still working on the decor and when they get done, they will rival any fine restaurant on the island of Aruba. With the wonderful experiences we have had at their first restaurant, Rumba, I can honestly say Mathew's is going to be a huge success at Casa del Mar and wish them all the luck in the world.
