Resturants near the Occidental?

Can anyone tell me where Madame Jeanette's is? I have read so many good things about this place. How far from the Occidental? Also would you recomend the Texas de Brazil? Where is it? We normally eat at the Occidental, but would like to eat one or two nites out for a change. Like I said before this is our 20th wedding anniversary and we want to make this the BEST trip to Aruba. Do you have to have reservations, and can we wait and make them after we get to Aruba?

Madame Janette's is less than 10 mins. from the Occidental. . Fare would be $9.00 per taxi, (not per person). Sundays fares are $3.00 extra but MJ's is closed on Sundays. Texas del is in walking distrance - right up the street from the Oiccdental. Madame Janettes is my favorite. Texas de Brazil is all you can eat with a great salad bar.

Thank you. I guess you would prefer M J's over Texas de Brazil? Anything better than MJ's? I have read so many good things about it. Also, do we need to try to get reservations now, or just wait until we get to beautiful Aruba.

we always ask to sit near the 2 musicians.
the music is soft and totally not annoying.
it is a great location, in the garden area NOT on the porch.
if you are a group of 5 - 8 you can be seated in the gazebo which is another great spot.

I like to sit on the inside near the music also instead of in the garden but its all preference.
