Andrea, where is Ricardo's? Is it by the Amsterdam Manor area? We are really not familiar with that section except now that we go to Mama's restaurant at Paradise. I'd like to add that to our list.

We went to Ricardo's for the first time on our last visit. It was wonderful. Ricardo's has a very loyal following. The restaurant is very small, but they have some additional seating on the beach. It is located at Aruba Beach Club, by Alhambra Casino. After our first visit, it is now on our "must go" list.

Ricardos is on the property of Aruba Beach Club.
Go to the Alhambra Marketplace, pull behind and go right on the access road to Aruba Beach Club.
(There will be signage for Casa Del Mar, Aruba Beach CLub, Manchebo and Bucuti.)

Walk thru the ABC and Ricards is parallel with the beach and behind the pool.
    It is a great location.
    The food is terrific.
It may not be as "romantic " as Passions/Amseterdam Manor, but the food is fabulous.

Why does such a good restaurant rarely get mentioned?

I was thinking about adding it to the thread about "good restaurants that we don't hear much about" that has been active lately, but got busy and just forgot. Ricardo's gets a lot of hype on one of the Aruba facebook pages. I think that page has a lot of members from ABC. Whenever anyone is looking for a good restaurant, they flood the page with suggestions for Ricardo's, so I think it just depends on what site you are on.

hey there andy. i know my reasoning for not mentioning certain restaurants is because of Aruba "restaurant overload"

a country so small has so many restaurants per capita , including the tourists.

sometimes (and i apologize) i focus on ones that come to mind my mind quickly.

i intend to do a better job.
