Thank you for all the ideas! Never had ribs in Aruba (or Italian for that matter) during our past 17 trips. Gee, where have we been! Getting closer!!!

It is always our first dinner when we arrive. You know the drill, long day tired from travelling and the place just get you in the mood! Really slurge and get the cheese fries! Worse food in the world health wise, but unbelievably fantastic!

I have had their grouper and it was really good. I do not remember how I had it prepared the last few times though. I have been then at least eight times and always get the grouper. Afer reading the previous posts, I am going to have to try the dry rub ribs.

We got the sampler ribs' order our first time, and the only flavor we didn't like was the dry rub. We loved their "signature ribs", so now, we only order those. We make sure we eat at Smokey Joe's there everytime we visit Aruba. The sampler ribs' order was great for the first visit. It was nice to sample their different sauces.

The Jamaican Jerk ribs are great too - but definitely spicy. The nice thing about the sampler is that you get a few of each and are not overwhelmed by a whole plate of the Jamaican ribs. SJ's is a really neat place and always has the Red Sox games on if you like the Sox...or hate the Yankees :-)
