Did anyone hear of the owner passing away and it being sold.People at the pool were saying that the other three are the same owners.Menu was the same.

Gee my daughter was just there she didn't mention anything???Well all three are the same owners Azzurro, Giannis and Sole Mare. ????

T he three I was told were Azzurro,Gianni's and Daniels.

Mr. Ferrara had cancer for a few years before he died last year on Dec. 20th. His passing had nothing to do with the sale of Sole Mare as his sons run the restaurants. The restaurant had been on the market for awhile. The new owners are from Venezuela. There also has been a lot of interest in Azzurro's at Playa Linda. The family also owns Confesstions, the nightclub next to Daniel's.

ok, let me get this right:

Originally Sole Mare, Gianni's, Azzuro all Italian restaurants were all owned by the same person/family (as well as Daniels, etc) and their menu's were actually just about identical too.

Sole Mare is now sold and possibly Azzuro too, correct? When was Sole Mar sold?

Sole Mare was sold this years. Maybe around 6 months ago. Regarding Azzurro, I am not saying it is sold. There had been interested but they never came through with $.
