sole mare vs. giannis

# 1, I already have a res. for giannis, however, looked at menu for sole mare, looks very good also, I know Giannis is closer to the Radisson which is where i will be, question is, how far is the Sole Mare from the Radisson ? And, keep what I have or should i make the change ?

# 2, I have been trying to reach Flying Fishbone and inquired about a res. , they are not responding, anybody have there web site again or a different angle I might try to get some info on this.

I know i replied to someone elses thread, with this same above, sorry, after not getting any replies, thought it needed its own, so thanks again all

I haven't been to Sole Mare so I cannot comment on their food or service. I've only been to two of the owner's other restaurants - Azzurro & Giannia's. I'm not good on distance - but I would say Sole Mare is about 1/2 mile from the Radisson. Take Palm Beach Rd (across from the Radisson - Gianni's is on the corner). Up Palm Beach Rd; cross at the light (Wendy's & Mc Donalds). Sole Mare is about 2 blocks up on the right. If you are into seafood, try Wacky Wahoo's. It's right after the traffic light on the right.

See Wacky Wahoo's map.

I'm a Sole Mare guy from way back. Enjoy. Only thing, it gets a little loud at times.

I went to both places last week. In my opinion, Sole Mare was far superior to Giannis. Out of 5 meals at both places, only 1 thought Giannis was good, and 5 out of 5 thought Sole Mare was good. I had been to Giannis last year, and I thought it was much better then.

hey serene, I can't recall seeing the menu for sole mare either, but than again I could of , I have looked at so many, am confusing myself, but yes if someone out there could sent us the web site for it, we appreciate it. Serene, wanted to mention to you2 things, # 1, I wrote this whole thing back to you under " Aruba general " , under "taxi service - bully " , if you get a chance, try to go back and read it.
# 2, I've heard and read great things about this place called Chalet Suisse Restaurant www.chaletsuisse-aruba.com , menu looks good, not sure if you already have checked it out.
I've being doing alot of research on various stuff, it all looks good. Stay in touch

Chalet Suisse, or Swiss Chalet( who knows) is fabulous. Nice, relaxing dinner. Great service, beautiful place....though, we loved it, we really prefer eatting outside in aruba. I would recommend it highly anyway.
