Starbucks
Hello,
Just got back and the trip was wonderful. The only complaint is the 4:30 am early birds who grab huts at LaCabana, go back to their rooms and don't show up until late morning. The rules are not enforced if the hut is empty for more than two hours. I don't know what kind of vacation it is to have to get up at 4 or 5 in the morning? El Gaucho, Chez Matilde, great as usual. Garufa went twice and the local bands were fantastic. Latin, Jazz, Rock, Dance fusion. Dushi Bagels great for a hamburger and fries. Weather perfect as usual. Didn't rain the entire 12 days there. Very Windy some days. The Aloe Man was a trip. Didn't see many hitting at the Casinos. And Last....For those Dunkin' Donut fans you now have Starbucks to contend with. Opening down by the Seaport Casino. Yeaah! Already counting the days for next year. Thanks, Sean |

purpleangel.............aruba has a better chance of getting a snowstorm than to lose its dunkin donuts.
ya, the starbux will be great for those that are downtown and another option for those that like to pay $$ for a cup of coffee those of us from the northeast that frequent aruba, and want "our dunkin" will continue to keep aruba a dunkin donut mecca. ;-) for me i go into starbux and get confused...............i want to say "i'd like a large coffee with skim milk and 3 splenda" but no one in there speaks like that......they use words like "grande" and machiatto and "foam". and sometimes i like their coffee othertimes it tastes like i licked a bunch of week old grounds. |
