Steak ("I know, it's an Island, but I want options")

So after I'm stuffed to the gills with island fish, where do I get a steak to die for other than Ruth Chris? Years ago down in Manchebo Beach, I ate at the French Steakhouse and got this churrasco beef...it even came with an actual certificate...anyway it was an awesome large pyramid of artery-clogging dreamy-ness (salivating as I am typing this). Anyone know if it's still as good, or if there is a better place?...something like a bone-in ribeye cooked the right way....and if the answer is in fact Ruth Chris, then so be it....Thnx in advance - Bon Dia!

I'm not a steak eater, but my husband RAVES over the Filet Mignon at Chalet Suisse & a few different steaks at El Gaucho - both have amazing chicken dishes as well - we've never had a bad meal at either place!

If you want specifically Churrasco, then THE place on the island for it would be El Gaucho.

They have a 16 oz. Churrasco. If it is size you are after, they have a 22 oz. t-bone, or 20 oz. rib eye.

There are also Brazilian steakhouses which offer unlimited portions and wide varieties of steaks. Amazonia Churrascaria or Texas de Brazil.

Another vote for LG Smith's downtown, I have also heard windows is great, going to try that one this November for sure.

We love Windows on Aruba, and their beef is excellent. Just be aware, like the Sunset Grille, it is not solely a steakhouse.

The best steak I ever had in Aruba (13 years) was at the Sunset Grill (NOT the Sunset Beach Bistro).

Great bone-in ribeye at Pago Pago in the Westin. Sunset Grille has a dry aged Prime ribeye and you can always count on Mme J's for Argentine beef.

Not particularly known for their steaks, I love Filet Mignon a la Ratatouille at Passions. "Lean cut beef tenderloin perfectly seasoned and grilled to order on a bed of green asparagus with balsamic glazed mushrooms, bacon ratatouille and a port wine sauce"
