Hi,

WE just booked our honeymoon to Aruba (November 6th thru November 15th) and staying at the Radisson. We are really excited! I am looking for your favorite restaurants!

Thanks so much!

Re: Suggest your FAV Restaurant and Bars

We have been going to Aruba a few times a year since 1992. For romantic good food Mirandi( table overlooking the water), Flying fishbone, very romantic the farthest away, but definitely memorableeating with your fet in the sand and watching the sunset. Madame Janettes, ask to eat way outside under the stars, excellent food and reasonable( tiny white lights on the trees where the ding is), Papiemento, Ask to be seated outside next to the pool( an old Aruba house, that you can wak through while they prepare your dinner), Tiny white lights otside like madame Janettes, very romantic, Casual restaurant great food, strong reasonable drinks would be Smokey Joes for ribs( around $15). The most romantic place to go for a drink Pinchos which is near Mirandi, but it is located out on a pier with blue lights shining under the water, very nice. There is also a restaurant near the lighthouse called La Tratorria, near the lighthouse, which has a beautiful view, but we wound recommend going there only for drinks before dinner somewhere else. It overlooks the whole island. Have a great trip

Restaurants Aruba has many but all depends on your likings.
Buccaneer- for the Best in seafood
Blossoms at the Wyndham- for the best in Asian & Japanese
Amazonia or Texas de Brazil - for great Argentinia style steaks
Crusteceous & Steaks NEW for a romantic seafood and steak dinner
Promenade - Best in Aruban dishes with flare
Sole Mare for Italian Dishes
Have a great honeymoon and enjoy Aruba

Re: Suggest your FAV Restaurant and Bars

Brisas Del Mar - be sure to have them put a table out on the patio near the water, The Buccaneer - ask to be seated in front of the larger fish tanks and Marina Pirata - ask for a table on the outside of the patio. If the lights are not on by the water ask them to turn them on so you can see the fish swimming around. If you go to Brisas be sure to request Ryan as your waiter. Tell him you heard he was from the Phillipines. They are all excellent

Brisas Del Mar is definitely on the top of my list!

Favorites:

El Gaucho:
Argentine steak house. Not terribly expensive. The Gaucho steak is incredible and one of the best cuts I have ever tried.

Flying Fishbone:
Upscale cuisine in a casual atmosphere right on the beach. Pricey but worth it. Phenomenal ambiance.

Madame Jeanette's:
Casual European (Austrian/German) and American fusion cuisine. Massive quantities of very good food.

Aqua Grill:
Seafood grilled on a wood fire. Very good food in a nice upscale atmosphere.

Amazonia/Texas de Brazil:
Brazillian chuascarria (steakhouse). If you have never been to one you need to try this once. They bring various cuts of grilled meat right to your table.

Matilde:
Pretty good French cuisine. Upscale but somewhat pricey.

Iguana Joe's:
Hands-down the best place to grab an appetizer and a drink and people-watch downtown.

Enjoy!!
