    Terrafuse glass blowing

I came across a website for this place. They hold workshops on glass blowin, glass bead making and ceramics. Just wondering if anyone has been. Sounded interesting

We visited the shop 2 to 3 years ago, but the lady that does the glass work was not in at the time. Her husband showed us around and we bought 1 or 2 glass balls to hang. It is worth a visit if you like blown glass objects. It was a little tricky to find, but if you are familiar with the Noord area, you should be able to find. It is on a road that goes to the famous church.

Yes, I have been there. A friend took me. It was LOVELY! The workshop was held in the yard of a small but so tpyical Aruba cunucu house, the yard itself was like a little paradise, decorated with so much love.

If you have a chance to go, I would definitely say YES, do it! It's a part of Aruba's culture. There are so many different artists, there is so much creativity and love put into their work. I absolutely love it! <3

I've always been fascinated with glass blowing and love the end products. Glass beads sound like something that would be manageable for a beginner. This sounds like a fun outing.

Peggy...you may want to check out the Bon Bini Festival at Ft. Zootman on Tuesday evening year round.
different artisans are there, sometimes the Terrafuse Glass Blowing!!! (as well as that nut we have been looking for)

Thanks Andrea. We've never been to Ft Zootman. Is it close to the Renaissance?

it is across the street from the renaissance ocean suites (.....the renaissance ocean suites is set way back in the seaport marina parking area)
it is a 3 minute walk.

it is down 2 blocks to the south of renaissance marina tower.
    again, a 3 minute walk.

Perfect! The last few nights if our trip we'll be staying at the Ocean Suites and we'll be there on a Tuesday. I can send Tom to the casino and I can take my time at the festival!

Ft Zootman has also a lovely museum. It's next to the festival.
