FYI- Cuba's Cooking has helped the stranded crew of the Polynesia ship of the Windjammer Barefoot Cruises. They have taken it upon themselves to feed the crew and spread the word to other restaurants that the crew of the Poly needs help. Thank you Cuba's! I myself have eaten there many times and always found the food to be great and the atmosphere and music fantastic! The Windjammer company has gone out of business and left their crew members stranded in various islands. I knew the Aruban people were generous and this just shows how much they care. Thank you all very much!!! To anyone who is in Aruba now, please visit this great restaurant!!!

Thats how Arubana are, its just in our nature to help others in need. I remember a few years ago there was this storm in the Northeast and it was high season all flights North was canceled and all these passengers were stranded at the airport with no hotel rooms. I remember they made this announcement on the radio if anybody could host these passengers at their house, in a matter of time all the passengers were staying with these people in their homes and many great friendships were made up to this time.

Very very nice gesture indeed. Hopefully the crews will somehow be able to make their way home to their families soon.
