    25 years in business
    Closing Aug 31

I hate to see business close. (even chain/franchises)

That is a long time. I hate to see that as well. There are so many restaurants it must be difficult to survive.

Surprising. They put a lot into the new front bar/deck/patio, I guess it wasn't enough. Or maybe it was time for retirement.

We used to go there every year but haven't in the past 4-5 years. We were actually talking about going back this year since its been a while. Guess we aren't going this November. And it closes on my bday - lol They had good ribs.

I don't like to see places close down either. That was a first stop for the first 10 years we went, but we got turned off when they started charging us for two meals when we wanted to share one. I stopped going at all about 6 years ago after they took a few of my favorite things off the menu.

It's a great location so I hope something different and successful moves in there.

really? charging for an additional meal? that is crazy.
I understand and have paid a sharing fee at many places.

tony romas was my son and husband's absolutely favorite place to eat.
they love the tony romas in falmouth ma and when they saw the one near the holiday inn, they were delirious.
    (ya, seriously, Tony romas)

then maybe 12 or more years ago something happened there with one of our meals and I cannot remember what....but we swore off Tony romas.

    it is too bad.
    many folks loved it.

does holiday inn own the dirt where Tony romas sits?

Never went to the TR's in Aruba, but others in the states. I do remember when it was one of the only restaurants outside the hotels on Palm Beach.

I think they may have changed to a $12 plate fee for sharing at some point after that visit. My husband stopped coming to Aruba with me after our 2010 trip so no need to share anymore. I don't think I've been to TR at all since 2013.
