If you don't want bad reports about your restaurants than get them right.I had a problem with the Waterfront years ago and the owner got in touch with me.He made things right when we returned the following year.We all know what happened to the Waterfront, but he did the right thing.I know Roy has other restaurants on the island and i wish him well.

Tony Romas Owners

The owner is a big executive at Goldman Sachs. His father is a resident in Aruba. He bought the restaurant from the previous owner. Once they changed the recipes, staff and raised the rates, that is when their problems began. We used to make Tony Romas our first stop for dinner on day of arrival, but after the new owners took over and we had a couple bad meals two times in a row, we stopped going for dinner. However, we have stopped by for lunch since the new owners took over and only ordered the burgers. They happen to be very good. When we return in May, Tony Romas will not be on our list of restaurants until they improve their food, service and we read some positive reviews on this message board.

If I have a criticism, it's that you're not critical enough!

Dear Mr. Restaurant Owner.....we tell it like it is!

Okay, so here goes.....I do not usually send food back for the same reason ArubaMark said....however, if I find something in my food that doesn't belong I have it returned to the kitchen and ask it be taken off my bill....never had any restaurant refuse...but I do it nicely so as not to offend....
As for poor service....that equates to no tip....I have no problem giving 20-25% if service is good and I travel alot with my job, so I've been around...but if I have a server with an attitude or who never returns to check on us...% goes way down....and if they just suck....no tip....why??? For what ever reason that person took that job it was by their choice and if you are going to do a job, do it right...if I were to do my job bady I wouldn't have a job....
Lastly, the moderators on this forum all show decorum, try to maintain a decent place for us to voice our opinions, and are helpful above and beyond their duty......if someone hwas a negative opinion of them it is just because it struck a nerve...ie, they hit the nail on the head.....
Restaurants in Aruba as a general rule all have decent food, but if I am going to pay an arm and leg for my meal it better be excellent quality, a decent quantity and object free !!!!!
closing my soap box now....
