We agree that Buccaneer is excellent. Also, Iguana Joe's has a great kids menu with large portions for very reasonable prices and the kids love eating outside. Good luck.

Where are these restaurants? In hotels or downtown?

Iguana Joe is downtown across from the "port".

it is in the 2nd floor and has a wonderful patio/deck that overlooks the town. Lots rave about the food. Even more rave about the beverages.

Buccaneer is inland a bit sort of in the high rise area.
Go down Palm Beach rd, and the take a right at the big BUCCANEER sign and then a left a little further down. (check with someone else as my directions are probably terrible)

imo buccaneer gives the most bang for your buck has awesome seafood and is very kid friendly with the constant non stop action of the fish in the large aquariums.

yes, kids under 5 eat free! laguna is also a great place for breakfast. while the selection is probably the smallest out of all of the palm beach hotel's buffet the carp filled pond overlooking the outside seating area does wonders in keeping the kids at bay. they allow kids to feed the fishes - bread.

    Good restaurants for kids?

Hi, our kids are 10 and 13. They still eat kid food, so we are looking for places that are fun and serve food that is not too adventurous, but not for little kids either. Any recommendations? We will be there in July. Thanks!

    We ate at the following:

Texas de Brazil - unless your kids are big meat eaters, not great for kids...my kids struggled here

Gianni's (Italian) - kids loved it

    Smokey Joe's (BBQ) - kids loved it..chicken fingers/fries

Ruth's Chris Steak House - there is a kids menu, but you have to ask for it

Those are the ones that stand out in my mind...hope this helps!

    a few others..........
iguana joes (downtown) sitting up there overlooking the town is pretty entertaining.
burgers and such, nothing special about the food but it is a great spot.

lindas on palm beach rd has some pretty cool pancakes which are unlike pancakes here in the usa. pizza and breakfasts and sandwiches too!

cooks last time we were in cooks, there were a few families there and the wait staff seemed to be making a big to do over the kids! also too, the bar tender called them up to the bar and the kids were imbibing on shirley temples and having a good old time!

tulip tulip has their hotel courtyard and playground right next to their open air restaurant. a great spot and good menu.
