Thumbs up Try the Balashi Beer Garden

Another cheap and tasty option my Hubby and I found on our recent Aruba trip was the Balashi Beer Garden. I had seen their website (http://www.balashi.com/balashi/BPastime.htm) and since we had rented a car, we decided to have lunch there. There are no signs, but it is about 10 minutes east of Oranjestad on 1A/B. Turn right onto the street just before the brewery (Young Fellow bar on the corner) and then, about 1/4 mile further, turn left into chainlink fenced area and follow signs uphill to the Beer Garden. Guests are shown to a covered area of bistro tables; all of the brewery workers were lunching at picnic tables. We each had a huge plate of Galina Stoba (a delicious stewed chicken dish), rice and plantains with a cold Balashi. The bill was only $20!
