Urataka Center, pizza
Urataka Center is a joint located on the way to the Arikok National Park. Here you'll find indoor and outdoor seating, some tour groups stopping by, as well as a bunch of locals having a drink or two.
Mrs. 44 and I stopped in yesterday to give the pizza a try. Others have said it was good and we were not disappointed. We ordered the 14" "meat lovers" version. It was more than enough for two people and the crust was very good. They use mozzarella cheese, not gouda the way some other joints do. The cost for the pizza and two bottles of water was 30 florins. That's a good price for the quantity and quality of the food, much better than the northwest reaches of the island. If you're rambling about Arikok or just need a pizza fix, I would definitely put this place on your list. Photos and stuff are on my blog as always. Bon dia. 44 |

We just went again last week, it's a little off the beaten path, but 4 of us had burgers and 3 rounds of Amstel Bright for $40 US.
Can't beat that with a stick, plus the beer is kept in this amazing fridge that keeps the beer so cold you can barely hold it! |
