have any of you gone to URATAKA CTR?
I was there once.
I am NOT a hamburger lover......really not even a hamburger liker....
but the burgers here are juicy, huge, cooked perfectly medium, with a big hunk of cheese, and a fried egg................ahhh can you just feel your blood solidifying?!

and their pizza is apparently the be all and the end all.
as i was wolfing down my burger and balashi, i saw a couple eating what appeared to be the "perfect pizza". they saw me staring and i am sure they thought "who is that fat strange woman oogling our pizza?"
the bar tender said it is the best pizza on island.
i was considering knocking them down and swiping their pizza, but they were young and thin and undoubtedly could out run me.

URATAKA CTR.........where is it you ask?

i have no idea really.

it is on aruba.
it is near the arikok main entrance.... i think.

that is all i know.

Urataka is an area located between Santa Cruz and the entrance to Arikok National Park. The Urataka Center is the bar/restaurant on the road there and a decent local joint for pizza and cold drinks. The pizza is good, not awesome, but good. The drinks are cheap and cold.

Thanks Andrea and Nic 44. Thats another local place we will try in our travels throughout the island in the next couple of weeks.

andrea, i promise you we will find it again and we can split a burger so we can have some pizza with it this time. this time i want to be sober enough to try their cold beer.

there goes weight watchers for august, lol.

We stumbled onto the place on our first trip. Someone bought our first round of drinks for us and it made for a great early impression of the island.

We love that place, it's cheap clean and really good. Beer is freezing cold and they were featured there in Mustang Monthly for the Aruba Mustang Club. Very cool out of the way location
