Various Restaurant Reviews 5/7/10-5/17/10

Just posted all of our restaurant reviews at:
http://www.restaurantsaruba.com/last_reviews.html

In a nutshell, we really didn't have any bad meals on the island. Had a few issues at Milano regarding food and service but they are going through some "new restaurant growing pains" and they made amends to us. So we may give them another try on the next trip.

Favorites: Screaming Eagle, Passions, and Amadeus

But all of the others were good, too! And there were so many places we wanted to eat at but just didn't have enough time....

I'm surprised that Papiamento's doesn't show up often on "favorites" lists! In our two visits to Aruba it's been consistently number one!!!! Atmosphere is incredible, food superb, service topnotch! Private sitting in among the lighted foliage, romantic, love it!

Papiamento for us became too expensive.

We enjoy Papiamento's (went there on our first trip back in 1996 and have been back several times since then) but we like to try new places as well. So we go to Papiamento's maybe every other year or so. As Lisa said, it has become a little too expensive and they really haven't grown that much over the years as far as new cuisine and creativity to match the prices.

Amy, where is Milano's and what kind of food is it? I've never heard of it before. We are always looking to try new restaurants.

Here's their website:

http://www.milano-aruba.com/

Their menu is posted on their Facebook page. It's fusion cuisine. Feel free to send me a message for more info.
