    Italian Restaurants

My vote goes to Gianni's. Their Spaghetti Formaggio is a heart attack waiting to happen but wow is it good. Make sure you have reservations if you want to eat between 7-8pm

    Noisy Italian Restaurants

The best Italian restaurants are the ones I went to in Italy.

When I worked in Rome, I can assure you some of the best were the noiseiest ....without any doubt

Same as my experiences in Venice and Sicily, Aquaman. Had the opposite experience in Rome (a quiet restaurant that was not-so-good).

But, then again, this is about Aruba!....and I'll stick with Gianni's next visit.

We ate at Anna-Maria's last evening. Service was good, back yard dining area was nice and our food was very good. We had their lasagna. I will say it was interesting to find, even though I could probably hit a golf ball to it from our parking lot at Surf Club.
    Next Aruba trip in

It's not elegant (no fancy table cloth), it's not in the best location (no water views), parking is not great (need to park a block or two away), but the food is terrific, the owners are very pleasant, and the price is very reasonable. The place is "Pizza and More". The owners moved here 3 years ago from northern Italy and everything is fresh and home made. You if have not tried it, you are missing the a terrific little place. . . .

Anna Marias is great but you better have at least 2 hours to kill or more.

as a new yorker, and being italian, respectfully disagree that italian on the island is subpar. azzuro's makes a few dishes not on the menu, that are fantastic.
hastoria's, has excellent food, veal cutlet with the bone, where have you seen this before? macaroni with the seafood, they sure don't cheat you on the seafood. excellent dish!!!
