Now I am feeling a business opportunity here. I think we can come up with a few investors and I am sure we can come up with a great name and menu.

Roy told us they were renovating. It was to be pretty extensive so I do not believe they are "closed" for good - just renovating!

Waterfront Crabhouse

]I am shocked that Waterfront closed. We never had dinner there, but did have a couple of lunches when we were in the area shopping. The owner, Roy Leach does run the concession at Aruba Beach Club and Costa Linda. Aruba Beach Club restaurant is good for a light breakfast special or lunch only. The dinner we once had there was their all you can eat rib special. We figured we would try because we stay next store at Casa del Mar. Unfortunately the ribs were not great and decided not to go back again. Costa Linda has the Turtles Nest Restaurant also good for lunch. Not sure about breakfast because we never had breakfast there. We had dinner there once, which was very good, but a bit pricey for what was offered. Roy Leach was the partner of Roger Coster who passed away several years ago. Both men go way back in years when they both worked at the Divi Beach Resort before Divi became all inclusive. Roger Coster was involved with the old Papagayo Restaurant that was located in the location that is now LG Smiths Steak House in Oranjestad. I do wish Roy Leach well with the other two restaurants.

Thumbs up Hello Fellow Entrepreneurs!

Aruba Mark, what a wonderful idea! My son is Food and Beverage Manager for Delaware North and has a great deal of knowledge as to how to run a culinary establishment.

Just imagine, Americans who could offer excellent food at REASONABLE prices, quality service, and not try to sneak a double 15% tip on the price!! I'm in!!!

Got any suggestions for restaurant names? I'm thinking TESSA'S!

Chef Susan
