What do you think of these dining options

Hi - We're arriving next week and I'm trying to finalize dining arrangements.

We have reservations for the following:
Private sunset dinner @ Marriott (for our anniversary)
Madam Jeanettes
El Gaucho

Then I have the following for casual options for one or two nights (we'll pick depending upon our mood that particular day):
Salt and Pepper
Pelican's Nest
Casa Tua

And finally, I'm looking for input on the following:
Wackey Wahoo
Aqua Grill
Simply Fish
Ruth Chris

Also, if you could pick one downtown restaurant (aside from El Gaucho) what would it be?

Thanks for your input and help. We are counting the days (9 left!).

Yes to Madam Janette's and El Gaucho--
Like Salt 'N Peppers for lunch more than dinner...
Not tried Wackey Wahoo, but heard good things about it. Aqua Grill is okay, but expensive and I think you could get better food elsewhere for the price.
Simply Fish-okay too.
Ruth Chris---been to some here in the States and although the food is good it is quite expenseive here, so who knows what it would be like there !!!
Maybe try Flying Fishbone instead....YUM !!!

Depends on whether you want tapas or pizza that night, we like S & P, and everyone seems to enjoy Casa Tua. You do not hear much about the Pelican's Nest.

Wacky Wahoo's gets excellent reviews. http://www.restaurantsaruba.com/view_review.html?REST_ID=193

Ruth's Chris has a terrific summer special http://216.34.190.20/email/200806_summercelebration/index.html

Que Pasa in Oranjestad gets great reviews, as well as Yemanja Woodfired Grill, Rumba and L.G. Smith’s Steak & Chop House.

How about Smokey Joes and has anyone tried the sunset Hors d'Oeuvres package at the Hyatt (maybe for the last night).

I promise, this is the end of my list

For downtown, I would vote for Yemanja Woodfired Grill. El Gaucho is a good choice for you... and Mme Janetts's is a perfect choice - Ask for garden seating. Aqua Grill is exceptionally nice, but pricy. S&P have never tried for dinner, but love it for lunch. Either S&P or Casa Tua are close to eachother and generally offer entertainment on the patio (shared courtyard) in the evening which makes for a nice evening. Smokey Joe's - great ribs, but we fought with flies last time. If you're considering Ruth's Chris, you might want to consider the Sunset Grille at the Radisson instead. SG is unique where RC is available in the States. Finally, Wacky Wahoo has fantastic reviews... sorry it was closed for vacation when we were there! There really are great dining options in Aruba.... makes it tough to decide!

For downtown either Driftwood or Old Fisherman.

Wacky Wahoo - we like it a lot. We have had dinner here & then went to Bingo's for desert.

Smokey Joe - only had rib dinner & also like it a lot. Can do take out and go back to the beach if you like.

My vote is Wacky Wahoo and downtown the Driftwood.
